The Fragrance

Roman chamomile has a sweet, apple-like, herbaceous-floral, and slightly tobacco-like signature with a warm, honey-like roundness. The top note is soft and fruity; as the scent develops, balsamic and slightly herbaceous nuances emerge with a soothing depth.

Use in Perfume Composition

Chamomile is used in top and heart notes and acts as a soft, rounded modulator in floral and aromatic fragrance complexes. It bridges fresh top notes with warm base notes. Eucalyptus oil is used in Florascent fragrances such as Chypre, Églantine, Mimosa, and other Florascent perfume compositions.

Aromatology

Roman chamomile is known for its calming and anxiety-relieving effects. Areas of application include stress, restlessness, and sleep disturbances. Chamomile, lavender, and neroli can be combined to create a relaxing blend.
